Jewelry Box Tutorial

So alot of people have asked me how to make the jewelry box so I decide to make a tutorial. I dont have a video camera, so pictures will have to do.

You need 2 pieces of chip board 6x6 inches.

You need 4 pieces of cardstock 6x6 inches

You are going to paste the cardstock on both sides of the chip boards above.

Now we're going to make the drawers.
Cut cardstock at 4 15/16 (length) x 4 1/8 (width) inches, cut 4 of these.
Score at  4 (length) and  3 3/16 (width).

Cut as shown above.

Glue as shown above.

Fold the 4 corners, and your first drawer is almost done.

Add a mat to the front of your drawer, 2 (length) and 3/4 (width) inches.
I've mounted Tim Holtz Hitch Fasteners on each drawer.

Now on to the outside of the drawer.
This panel is 7 5/8 x 3 1/8 inches
Scor at 1 inch, 3 5/16 inch,  4 5/16 inch and 6 5/8 inch
You will need 4 of these.

Fold and glue as shown above.

This is what it should look like.

We will now glue the drawers on the bottom of the box.

Add glue to the top of the drawers.

Then add the top of your box.

Add a easel card to the top of your box, and you are done:)

Copic Card Class

This week I took a Copic Card class at Paper Vineyard with Copic Instructor Lori Barnett. She is an awesome teacher and a great person. I loved taking this class. I learned so much and had lots of fun.

We colored images from The Greeting Farm Stamps. I LOVE these stamps! I will be buying lots of them lol.

MIA for a bit.

So I have been MIA for a bit. It has been a busy couple of weeks for me. I have to share all my crafty stuff I have done.

I took a Copics skin and hair class at Crop Girls last week with Jennie Black, she is the Copic Certification, technique and class instructor for the Western U.S. I must say she is an amazing woman. I had a great time in her class and learned so much. Here are the cards we made in her class.

Valentine's Day tags

I love love love these tags! I had so much making these. I love the vintage look of them. I started off with a basic tag and covered it with K&Company's new Valentine's paper, added ribbon, distressed the edges of the tag with vintage photo ink pad, added K&Company's die cut images with pop dots to give it a 3D look, added some prima flowers, lace, bling and a brass lock and key embelishment.
